Ps3 Settings help required

To cut a long story short

I leant my PS3 to my m8, he plugged a Hdmi cable in (not something that i use)

I get it back it doesnt work! How do i change the settings back to normal if i cant see anything!

if you turn it on by holding down the button but keep holding it for about 10 seconds i think it will come on and reset the display settings, keep pressing it until the display settings come up though.

then you can set it up again to display on your tv.

It does tell you in the owners manual, but who read that eh
