PS3/Xbox 360 Debate

hey all

I got a 360 elite but been thinking of trading it in for a Ps3, all i seem to really do is watch movies on it and i watched a blue ray at my mates the other day on his ps3 and it looked amazing!!! I know ya gonna say keep both but i cant afford to have both lol...

Anyone else sold there 360 for a PS3?

i traded my xbox for a ps3 a couple of months ago...

blu-ray is good, BUT i really miss forza. and the pad.

wait for GT5 to come out then trade.

well i would say do it sell xbox for the ps3 as i have a ps3 but it depends what you want the console for if you want to play games,blueray,divx/xvid then get the ps3 as these day most games are on both consoles but there are exclusives on each eg ps3 has uncharted,resistance,heavy rain and xbox have forza,halo,gears of war so just keep the one you would play the most games on.

For pgr3/4 and forza, they are worth owning the console for imo.

i got pgr 4 and forza 3.. but i rarly play them now.. all i ever play is modern warfare.. Final Fantasy and grid.. which is on both console anyways...

Exclusive wise i prefer the ps3 ones then the xbox ones.. all xbox exclusives seem to be shotting ones which do my head in lol

I own xbox, ps3 and a wii, xbox i best for games online play etc, ps3 is best all rounder for the casual gamer. I dont like the ps3 controllers

I owned all 3 consoles wii/360/ps3. The only one I sold was the 360.. says it all really. I did prefer the 360 controller, but i'm used to the ps3 now so it feels normal.

PS3, I don't think forza is sufficient justification for an xbox, I do miss that game but PS3s are so much better in every other way.

If you want to watch actual blu ray discs then you have to get ps3. If you download then get wdtv not a ps3, if you play games then defo keep xbox, better controller, xbox live.

I wouldn't have just a ps3, all I use it for is watching stuff no games, most cross platform are better on xbox.

I own both, trying to get rid of the 360 as it has become redundant - never use it. I would miss Forza, but then again i havn't played it in ages.

Depends what you want it for and what you prefer.

I prefer the games/controllers/live and all my mates have them.

But if your desperate to have a BR with it then there isn't a choice it's gotta be PS3

I'll keep it quick.

Had a 360 from launch day. It Broke. Bought PS3 Slimline. It was crap. Sold It. Bought 360 Elite. I'm Happy.

Basically the PS3 controller was too small for my hands, after a few hours my hands were cramping. You need a costly bluetooth headset to get any decent conversation sound. It's full of noobs/kids. No one communicates due to the bluetooth problem and in my opinion the PS3 controllers are slightly slower to react to commands than 360 ones, although it's not noticeable if you don't go hard like me lol.

I'd rather pay and play with people who take gaming seriously. But thats just me i guess!
