PSP forum

My PSP was delivered today.

Its a 1.5 version, but im not sure what i can do with it. Looking for a forum or someone that knows there stuff on these.

Just bought Pro evo 5 for it but i belive this will upgrade it. so want to know a bit more about it before i put the game in.

Im totaly use less with things like this so all help is much appreciated.

Still none the wiser, i dont understand the language they talk on them forums. I need real simple terms!!!

heres a good website http://pspupdates.qj.net/ u gotta go to the files scetion. It has everything you need to get homebrew running. Im not sure how to do it myself, but thats the site my m8 used to get it working on his. Plus you can get a load of games on torrent sites and newsgroups etc.

Theres also this site http://www.ps2nfo.com/ which mite help as well.

Wish i could do it on mine but mines bloody 2.5!!!

Its not so much homebrew, its the fact that you have more options with 1.5 than any other.
But i want to plat Pro Evo 5 andi need 2.0 to do so. There is a way i can play it through 1.5 but dont understand how? And i dont understand how to put it up to 2.0 or even how to put it back down to 1.5.
Ill have a ganders on the sites given and i home they are more idiot proof.

When you load one of the latest games in your psp it will usually tell you it needs to update your software to play the game . Once you update to above version 2 or above there is no way to revert back to version 1.5 ( not at the moment anyway ). If your happy playing games the legal way then updating is the option to go for . Some people i know use a 4gb hard drive available from

and they use illegal ,pirated games loaded onto the hard drive , you can also store music, films and photos on the hard drive .But then you need an emulator called " fastloader version 7 " to play these games from your hard drive , but you need to leave an original umd in your psp . Some games also need a newer emualtor from " Humma Kavula & Friends present :
