Pulling When Braking?

Been a member for a while.... and have finally got round to getting a 182 :rasp:

Had it for a few weeks and its got an annoying problem when braking. It's ok with normally driving and not noticeable. But when driving/braking quite hard(from any speed about 30) the car seems to want to 'drift' over to the right but the steering wheel feels and looks like its pulling to the left? You can pull it back by using the steering.

But what could be causing this? Just had an mot before I and has do about 1000 miles since its mot. And its meant to have an advisory for a warped front disc. So that is hopefully going to get changed at the weekend. Could that be whats causing the problem?

Cheers

Pulling to one side when braking usually indicates unbalanced front brakes. This could be caused by a sticking caliper, faulty brake lines, or mismatched pads. A warped disc would usually be described by feeling a "bounce" or vibration through the pedal when braking.

Well am going to have a look at sometime over the weekend if it stays dry. And will hopefully find out the problem.

Anyway of checking for sticking calipers without taking them off? And is they anyway of fixing them or is it best just to buy new ones?
