Putting in the original air box, but got no idea how to put it in!

Hi Guys & Girls,
I have just got an 07 Clio, but it has a K&N Typhoon in it. I have managed to get an original air box of ebay. Its got all the parts, so all good there.
Do I have to remove the battery to put it in?

Hi Ed.

Not sure what's involved in fitting the typhoon so no idea what's already been removed. I would have thought the answer was no but without seeing what's missing I can't tell you what needs to go back.

Some pictures of the bay with the filter off will help.

Iirc, a couple of my mates had to remove the battery to fit a ktec induction kit to a 200 so I imagine it'll need removing to refit.

Cheers guys, only had the car a week or so and decided to fix a few bits. Its been a bit unloved. Its had its resonator deleted and this big K&N Apollo.
I will have a crack at the airbox over the weekend. I am hoping it will slot in without too much effort. Got Miltek on order and having that fitted Saturday.
