Hi, just wondering how long it takes to fit lowering springs on my cup?

A mate of mine is doing it for me and he rang renault and they have quoted him £28o labour!!

Surley it only takes a few hours? I wont be paying full price but he will proberly want half of what renault charge! I'm sure a normal garage only charges about £100 quid.

Just want to know how easy they are to fit, and roughly how long it takes thanks,

pretty easy mate. Took me about 10 minutes for rear, and bout an hour for front.

Price wise, £15 labour a corner is usually the going rate. Took about 1 hour start to finish.

£280 is a f**king joke!!!

HI mate, i was quoted £200+ vat for fitting springs down a local garage. Thought fcuk that, so i took it to GDI in kimbolton who did a great job and charged £65 all in

Yeah in crewe mate, but the mate works in middlewich for wpi so will be using the garage there.

How much should i give the mate them if he does it then :S

I have a good socket set BTW. I have the springs (sane as yours) but i'm impatient and want them fitted at weekend
