Ill try and cut this short as I can lol.....
Girlfriend bought a brand new clio 1.2 16v dynamique, collected in on the 1st of september so we had the new 54 plate!
Kept hearing a little clicking sound at slow speeds, which after investigation by the dealer turned out to be both left side locking wheel nuts had nut been tightened and just fell out after we took the center cap off.
After a few letters to and from them, all they have said is sorry basically. Were still trying to get them to PDI the car again, so we know nothing else was missed!
Anyway, got another couple of problems now. One being the drivers door doesnt sit striaght and needs lifting to close, and the gear stick moves when changing gear. I know theres not a lot they can do about that as the mounts they use are too weak, but hey....its another thing we can moan about!
So, my girlfriends mum is getting pissed off with the dealers being quite crap (and is now sending a letter to Renault UK to complain) and the g/f is getting annoyed with Renault build quality.
Just want to know really how difficult it would be to reject the car. We never would, but I just like the idea of threatening them with it. Might get them to pull their fingers out a bit...... Just dont want it to backfire and them to go try it lol!
Any help, thanks
Tom
