Is there anyway to make the standard size of a new window opened the maximised size?

Every time I click a link, I get it in an annoying little window in the top right as apposed to the full screen.

Anyone? It really is very annoying.

Don't know if there is a way to do this.. But if you make one of the windows virtually full size by dragging the corners, the next one should open the same size.

I know one way you could do it

Create a shortcut to Internet Explorer, right click on it, properties, then where it gives the "run" option select maximized from the drop down list.
