quick question about laquer...

ive sprayed my wingmirrors and im semi happy with the finish. i want them shinyer.

with the laquer, should i sand it down with wet and dry 1500 or something and apply another layer until its shiny?

my main worry is when you sand it it looks a bit crap, and im worried the laquer wont make it look good.

na you'll be fine, wet sand back with 1200 so its completley smooth (you remove the orange peel look)

then whack another good thick coat over

some paints dont need to be sanded b4 you add laquer because the laquer wont change the colour. they could probably tell you in halfords if your paint needs to be sanded or not.
