I have noticed over the last few days my IE7 has been deleting all my history. Quite annoying as i had to keep logging into CS when i got home, retype in hotmail etc. VERY ANNOYING.

This happened again when i came back form work yesterday.

THhe only thing i can think of is it must be my flat mate using my PC, then deleting the history (which is disturbing and annoying).

Can i run any programs form the 'run' icon in the start button to see when my PC has been swithced on so i can either say yep it is my flat mate or it is my IE7 being silly?

I wasnt aware IE7 deleted history automatically.

Just password protect your account fella. Also turn of guest accounts and put a password on the administrator account. Thats the easiest way

Or leave it turned on and running and install a key logger. Or just install a key logger that auto starts and then see if he is indeed using it

key logger coolio. any suggestions?

I wouldn't mind him using the thesloth as long as he asked, and he obviously was using it for good and not for his plans for world terrorism. ;) the fact the histoy is being deleted makes me suspect.

Its obivious he's looking at animal p0rn!

Watch for tell tale signs such as 'sticky keyboard', 'smeared screen', 'wipe marks on the desk' and of course crusty socks/tissues!
