Just wondering does getting a scratch resprayed and small dent filled mean a car will then be recorded as Cat D?

No not at all, cat D or any category for that matter, is when the car goes through the insurance company & it's not financialy viable to repair it.

Cheers mate, thats good. Wasn't sure if Renault would record the repair and share the info with the DVLA making it a cat D. So is Cat D any repair done through insurance that costs less than the cars pre repair value?
