Quick question

Fitted my Eibachs on Monday and they've evened out the gaps between my wheels and wheel arches nicely. Only thing is, the offside rear is roughly 20mm lower than the rest of the car.

Pretty sure it'll be down to the rear shock on that side but I just wanted to get confirmation before I waste money on buying parts I don't need.

It's supposed to iirc, so when you get in and drive it it's even. I may be (and probably am) wrong though!

i had a similar problem when i had apex, the o/s/r was 10mm lower than the n/s/r. it drove me round the bend for ages. i blamed it on the unlevel surface of my driveway but noticed it again when parked in a car park. sometimes it sat level and sometimes it didnt.

I know that feeling, everytime I look out the window at it. No one else seems to notice it though. :S

yeah its a head fook that one mate, i kept takin mine out to loads of different level spots to check.

Had the car up, removed the shockers and they're fine, swapped the springs and made sure they were set in properly then dropped the car down off the axel stands. Car actually sat evenly on both sides, took the car for a quick drive around the block and it's gone back to the way it was originally.

Had a quick look under the car and the offside rear spring is slightly more compressed than the nearside rear spring. Seems there's more weight on that side so I'll just have to put it down to R8 FTW's theory.
