Recommend me a few companies that are effective at the age of 21 please. Theyve increased my policy because my car is now kept in a garage?!
Terrible insurance company, every f**king advisor has different f**king rules
Wtf?! Also, i made a thread on here before.. My mate has less NCB and is WAY younger than me and gets a VTS for WAY cheaper insurance than my 1.4 16v?!!!
Quinn Direct have been good for me. When I passed my test with having my MK1 the isnurance stayed the same price.
When I got my MK2 it went up £400 as I jumped up 2 insurance groups too.
Going to go somewhere else next year though as although Ive had good service I fancy fully comp at a cheaper price.
Tesco has been very cheap for me atm! The cheapest so far. Quinn are good for my mrs and my mate.. just not me. My mrs insurance is only 600 a year and its her first year driving.
Tesco i had for the first 2 years of my driving. Were the cheapest because i work for them. When my car was written off my car was assessed and cheque was sent out within 2 weeks. It was christmas time as well!. Never ever had any trouble with them at all.
Im with Quinn, and never had a problem, always offer me free cover on a temp car if i need it too.
Cheapest by far for me and no one can match them. I would speak to them and say whats going on.
Also regarding the learner situation, this is true with all insurance companies, you dont drive as much when your a learner and havea driver with you, but when you passed your test you dont, so therefore become a bigger liability.
I've come to a decision of hibernating the car for a little bit.. This gives me the chance to save me quite abit of money too (for next car) My mrs can be my Taxi. Looks as if the Clio is out for a month or two. Im cancelling my insurance and finding another company. I'd pay the lump, i just havent got the money atm because im your typical broke student.. Goodnight Clio, hello mrs 206....
Tesco were good, you can go for tesco budget insurance but be aware! check your voluntary excess! when you select the budget option that goes right up.
Quinn were actually really good for me a few years back when I had the scirocco. With it being an old car of low value (and garaged) I wasn't happy when most quotes came back for over the value of the vehicle. Quinn were realistic in their quote. I would have been a cretin to hand over more money than the car is worth just to have a knackered old run around.
