Quote for bonnet respray!!

Ive posted messages before about the large chips on my bonnet and had a few replies but Renault still arent budging and wont do a warranty job for me. So, its gonna cost me personally if I want my cup back to its former glory.

I went to the Renault approved bodyshop and they want the best part of £300, but another place I went wanted £700...what the f**k?!

At the end of the day Ill need to do it for when I come to sell it, so will have to dig deep.

Yeah, but I also need 4 door dents and a chip on the one of the rear quarters clearing up to!!

They want £160 labour though. Sting, OUCH!!

if youre having the whole bonnet done id say 300 is the top end of what youd pay. 250 for a good place to do it, one man band in a shed back of the train station 200.

i got a quote for my williams when a chipsaway cowboy wrecked my pride and joy! (wont go into that) anyway, they wanted 250 for bonnet - 150 for rear quarter - 150 for tailgate, it was a BMW specialist so it would be top notch job but i still cant afford it

So, £300 for a bonnet respray, dents taken out of the drivers side door and rear quarter and a paint chip/flake doesnt sound too bad to me now. And theyre a Renault approved bodyshop (not that that means much if the dealers are anything to go by!!).
