Where can i get one from for my Mk1 172?

Was looking at Superchips offerings at MPH05, and this got me thinking about R-Sport. Can you still get them?

Don't have to send it away, there's a refundable surcharge which is given back to you when you send yours to them.

Don't they send you a different ECU in exchange for your old one?
I don't like the sound of that - making money out of an old part.

yeah, its an ecu exchange. The prob is that they are all coded to the car as i remember. I have the renaultsport ecu (mk2 cup) and the ecu, when recived from bb tuning or whoever you get it from "locks" its self to your car. you cant transfer it without having it unlocked, and thell rip you a treat for that lol! So if you wanna revert back to standard itll cost ya!

Why not get the ECU direct from Renault?
