The escort on top looks like the gravel spray has been photoshopped, what camera did you use?

Best rally of the year i went every day,car 28 Simon Tysoe was never off the rev limiter :) cant beat the noise of a BD* engine at full chat.Well done to Banner on the win an escort Legend, most spectacular and drive of the rally had to go to Martin McCormack though he was on it all the time and possibly would have won if it wasnt for his off in Greystoke, one to watch for the future as he's only in his early 20's.

Car 5, red Mk2. Steve Perez (Mr Vodka Kick who was doing the event in the Stratos) lent him one of his cars as Banner's own car is still poorly.

I used to always attend the RAC (network Q/Lombard etc). It was a great shame when they dropped the north of England stages. I loved Grizedale in Cumbrian lake district, Dalby Forest in the North East, Hamsterley in the North East. Bring back the Yorkshire stages. What was the name of that long stage just south of the Scottish border they used in the late 80's/early 90's?

Are most of them in Wales nowadays?

You should've gone to the RAC!
Day 1 in Yorkshire (Dalby etc) before a night stage in Greystoke (Cumbria)
Day 2 SW Scotland and Kershope (the long stage on the border)
Day 3 all in Kielder

Grizedale is being used in December for another event.

This RAC is the Roger Albert Clark rally, not to be confused with the former Network Q/Lombard RAC which is now Wales Rally GB and doesn't leave South Wales :S

Was banner doing the Historic this year then? He normally does post?

Yeah he was doing the historic event this year - his own car isn't historic spec so he usually does the "open" rally, which he'd won for the previous 3 years.

do you have any idea what happend on Sunday night with the stages for Monday?
we went to Broomylinn @ about 8pm and there were no spectator arrows then went further down the road to Roughside where there were spectotor arrows but the gate was locked sat there for about an hour nobody came so we had to go in the stage entrance inbetween the 2 stages and sleep up there until morning

I don't know, the main speccie car parks are usually open the night before I think? We drove through Hopehouse from the north end of the stage and parked up for the night on a track that connected Hopehouse and Roughside then came out after the stage via Spadeadam army ranges to the south and back to Carlisle for the finish.
