I used to always attend the RAC (network Q/Lombard etc). It was a great shame when they dropped the north of England stages. I loved Grizedale in Cumbrian lake district, Dalby Forest in the North East, Hamsterley in the North East. Bring back the Yorkshire stages. What was the name of that long stage just south of the Scottish border they used in the late 80's/early 90's?
Are most of them in Wales nowadays?
Was banner doing the Historic this year then? He normally does post?

You should've gone to the RAC!
Day 1 in Yorkshire (Dalby etc) before a night stage in Greystoke (Cumbria)
Day 2 SW Scotland and Kershope (the long stage on the border)
Day 3 all in Kielder
Grizedale is being used in December for another event.
This RAC is the Roger Albert Clark rally, not to be confused with the former Network Q/Lombard RAC which is now Wales Rally GB and doesn't leave South Wales :S

Yeah he was doing the historic event this year - his own car isn't historic spec so he usually does the "open" rally, which he'd won for the previous 3 years.
God I have really lost touch with all this..I will deffo be attending future Roger Albert Clark rallys!!..Does anyone know the best web sites for up and coming events etc please?..Thanks
