Cheers guys
&
I got them for £200 ;)

I have no idea what the most sutible height would be either? maybe 40mm?

Be wary of putting them too low at the front, the springs are a bit too soft. Apart from that they're pretty good

Got them fitted by ABP motorsport on the 26th of Feb (£208 fitted and geometry set up), drove to Cadwell park for a trackday with me and two mates in the car and they were rubbing going around roundabouts, so had them raised 15mm at the front and they seem fine. They do settle tho pretty quick and drop, so set them to your ride height you want and then take them up a bit to save messing around. They're ok wound all the way down at the back.

Just make sure you get the car set up afterwards, put a bit of camber on the front too. Harsh as hell on std 16"s imo, loads better on my track 15" wheels, but when driven hard they are very enjoyable.

^you should never fully setup a car on new suspension IMO, wasting your cash

you should do a "basic setup" send the car away and get some milage under its belt to bed in the new suspension/c**k about with ride heights, i always suggest around 1000miles/4-6weeks , THEN set it up properly

ok thanks for the advice every one, so getting them lowered to 40mm front and back will just turn out to be a complete fail?

all i really want to do is stop it looking like a 4x4, mainly just get rid of the gaps around the arches, ill defo make sure i tell them to be carefull of the front. its just hard becuase i really dont know alot about the suspension, i just basically need to tell them not to go too low!! i have been given a number for this guy who will do £25 an hour labour which is a bit of a result!

Yeah you're right but I had a track day two days later so better than nothing! Plus theres so many potholes on my estate after the cold weather it need doing weekly;) I've been riding to work on my bike instead cos the roads are diabolical

And on that note Fred, when do you want me back in?

Raceland dont make these anymore by the way. So any that are kicking about will probably be old stock.

^ Where did you get that info from? KTec are selling new stock thats arriving all the time?

I've also had these arrive this week and am planning on installing properly, have taken note to watch teh initial height on the front.

My second question is it normally the done thing to put copperslip or similar on teh threads of teh coilovers to sto them rusting/getting dirt in them to make them easy to adjust at a later date if recquired or ok just to put them on dry?

PS Would be really good if we could just have a thread about these coilovers, what they are like etc etc rather thna having another about what companys marking what up or selling what as what or not selling what as whaif you get my drift!! :)

  Supercharged S2000
Yeah being a complete noob i dont know jack sh*t. can some one tell me what to go with? like 35 mm ? will that rub? i can either get it done properly for 170quid or can get it done through a mechanic i have never dealt with before at 25per hour. if you know what your doing & have all the tools etc they cant be that hard?
i phoned up a speacialist today and the guy was a right cnut, he asked me what coilovers i had and i told him and he was like, i have never heard of racelands but they sound sh*t and cheaplol!! then tried telling me he wouldnt touch them just in case i stack my car , surely if all mechanics had that attitude they would get no business!!..
