Hi all, thought I’d start a thread to share the exploits of the car I’ve just bought - ex-Clio 182 Championship K-Tec(750 mc) car.

the plan is to race it in the MSV TrackDay Trophy and maybe do the odd 750 mc race if we keep it as-is. We may deviate from the K-Tec series spec once we get to know the car, will see how we go.

in the meantime here’s some pics before we start fiddling!

Hi all, so the car comes with the K-tec Gen90 ecu, locked for the 750mc regs.

K-tec have offered to swap it out for an unlocked unit for us.

The Gen90 doesn’t send anything to the OBD port so our Aim Solo lap timer/data logger receives nothing but power - no revs or any any other measures from the ECU.

Has anyone been able to connect a Gen90 ECU to an Aim or similar data logger?

You can connect via CanBus so you may need to see if there is an adapter for the Aim. Certainly you could swap the solo out for an Aim dash which would certainly work.
Gems may be able to help you who make the Gen90 for ktec

Cool thanks. There are other wiring harnesses for the Aim so I’ll have a look.
