Rain / Light sensor ( what am I missing ? )

Hi all,
Bit of an odd one this, ive just taken the top half of my dash off to fit a new interior light wiring loom as I thought mine was missing ( car was stripped ready for track use ) turns out the last owner just tucked it all out of the way, me thinking it was just a basic light loom i have for the vehicle I’ve actually got an rain and light sensor. I’ve got a little dome thing under the passenger wing mirror and this unit I found is still connected to the loom I googled the part number and it’s saying it’s a rain sensor.
I would love to get this all fitted up again but I’m unsure what I am missing ? I have brought a interior light and surround but I’m guessing rain/ light sensor models are different ? If someone could tell me what I would need it would help me out loads.
I’ve taken some pictures of the loom with the plugs I just need to find out what these plugs are for.

Car is a ph2 172









The wiring for this plug is rather long so I’m guessing it goes over to the drivers side possibly?



Lastly the windscreen I’m guessing it’s been changed to a normal non rain sensor screen ?



Any help I’ll be much appreciated

Correct, the metal holder for the rain sensor sticks to the screen, but I don't think you can buy one as a separate part.
Perhaps someone could rescue one off a breaker?

Thanks Steve.m I’ll see how much a new screen is as this one is chipped lol
I’ll look around for a cover someone might sell one with a sensor

To give you a reference price,I had a new screen in December for £165 fitted, from an independent specialist.
