Random wires?

What are these wires and clips attached to the same loom for the dimmer for?

one should be dimmer, on should be headlight adjustment. the other, esp?

Cruise control and esp, but yours doesnt have them thats why they are just loose wires

I see. Do they all use the same looms then?

Would i be able to get the correct bit for the dash with the 3 buttons and plug them in? Or would that not work?

yeah most manufacturers just make one loom to keep costs down, I dunno if your ECU will support the buttons though, you will also need the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel for it to work anyway.

Could be worth trying. Wouldnt be to fussed about cruise control

I dunno it has its moments... Good for saving fuel on the motorway, managed to get 44mpg out of my 182 on using cruise control!
Prefer the drive without esp aswell

hmm, I dunno to be perfectly honest mate, is yours a cup? base model?
Your ECU might not have the software to support it, might be worth speaking to Henk who does all the RS tuner stuff as he seems to know a lot about the ECUs. I suppose in theory you should be able to plug a 172FF ECU in if yours doesnt support it!
