rar'd files

how do i put them on my phone?????

i have d/loaded some satnAV for my phone but it came in a rared file, when i then go to open it theres loads of diff files????

although when i went to dload it it was a jar.file

Only messing mate.. Can't answer your question tho.. Don't know much about jar files other than they're compressed files used in phones.

Try renaming it from .rar to .jar.

.jar is just another compressed format.

download winrar fella, www.download.com itson there, Rar file is exactly liek a Zipped file, but you need Winrar to open it to get the documents, so that why you cant put rar files on phones

once you got Winrar, go on the rar file(putple) and right click "Extract" Job done

you don't need to open it you need to install the jar file to the phone using your phone software

cant you just put the 910files in a folder, then transfer the folder over? (not Rar folder)

.jar files are not ment to be opened on the pc. You transfer the file to the phone, then open the file on the phone. Not the pc.

yes, was just a rar file,

No, the .jar is a java file. Not a .rar file.

The .jar will look like a .rar, but isnt, its an installer for the software. A bit like a .exe for a pc.

Just transfer the .jar file (the one linked above) to the phone and open it from the java console within the phone.
