loving that, one thing I always regret selling are my RC cars :( might have to invest in a new one!

I completely rebuilt my RC car with drifting in mind, still a fee bits to do but waiting for nicer weather :)

Custom chassis, weight removal/shifting, camber and castor mods, extra counter steer mods, worked a treat :)

they look cool because there on a proper street track i can assure you there useless anywhere else. lol just learn to drift without the trick diff on a normal nitro car.

Just looked at the price of those RC cars !!!!!

I don't even want to know.

I always manage to resist temptation as I'd enjoy building it then drive it about 3-4 times before the novelty wore off and it became another expensive dust collector somewhere in my apartment.

MR4TC?

The chassis are about £300, its all the electrics that are expensive. £200 speedo, £80 motor, £100 servo, £100 battery x2, £300 radio gear then all the tools, charger, power supply and set up stuff.

Still got majority of my old gear downstairs! And still get bloody Schumacher newsletters from Crashton!

Battery power is for gays. Men role with nitro. I prefer buggies but me and a mate rolled with a Schumacher 1/10 scale Subaru which had 3 gears and did around 80mph. It's still classed as 1 of the fastest models. Used to eat tyres.

It was pricey, but superb fun. I haven't raced in over 5 years, since then its all gone brushless, the cost has come right down. Friends are doing a whole meeting on one cell! I had 4 matched cells @£40ish each, but i needed them to run the whole meeting. Some wicked bodyshells out now too. I had a BTCC Astra shell when i was racing indoors, great for elbowing your way around. I remember turning an old chassis into a drag car, 11 turn motor, locked up rear diff and a wheelie bar. Would leave nitro cars standing in a straight line.

I miss that hobby/having no life.

  Turbos.
FLOL! Sweet. Would be a guilty pleasure for me though, couldn't actually admit to anyone i played with little toy cars. Would have to wear a mask.

Yeah, fuel powered radio controlled cars are for studs...
