Re-lacquering my clio, need help

Hi all,

i keep looking at my Clio, i found it the be discolored due to the lacquer, i was thinking of going to my local painting company, and getting some cans and redoing it myself.

would you guys say this is just asking for trouble?

Depends where the lacquer peel is and how big an area it is.

Get some pics up.. you probably just need someone who knows what they're doing with a pot of polish to give it a scrub !

So there is lacquer peel or there isn't ?! :S

What polish are you using ? What's your normal wash routine... if it's hosepipe, suds + sponge followed by a bottle of T-cut... head to the detailing section immediately haha !

Sounds like you want a good detail, and polish, oxidisation on the clear coat maybe. Might clean up ok.......pics would help, as fogging of the clear coat can be a sign its about to fail and peal.

you cant just buy some aerosol lauqer n spray it over all your car lol
