Re-map ECU???

Do you think it's worth me getting the ECU remaped? engine mods so far....
Piperx ik, ss manifold, performance cat & ss exhaust, uprated plugs and leads.....

the mods you list will be easily coped with by the std ecu... no major changes there.

on the valvers you can even do cams without problems.. however with a propper afr map you can get the best out of the mods.

sorry but I'm a bit crap when it comes to things like this....whats an afr map? and the SMT Smokey mentions above? I've seen it mentioned a lot on this site but never really understood it...cheers

AFR = Air/Fuel Ratio

SMT6 = a piggyback ecu unit
