Really Really Need Help :(

  Clio 1.2 1998 S Reg
Hi Guys,

Recently, I had my MOT booked, so I noticed that one of my break lights was out. I took it to Halfords and got them to replace my bulb. In the process one of the guys who did it took out a different bulb thinking it was suppose to be two bulbs replacing. However, that was my fog light and ever since that has happened when I brake, reverse and indicate right my fog light comes up on my dash board, sometimes faint and sometimes not. But my right indicator does not tick as normal anymore, it is very slow and sometimes doesnt even work at all! Somehow it passed it's MOT with it and even when I put the fog lights on, it will not indicate at all unless I turn them off.

Anyone have any idea of what this is?
I am a girl so no idea about cars and fixing it myself. I probably will have to take it to a garage, if anyone knows how much it would roughly cost I'd be really thankful.

LOL - I don't think you understand his meaning.

Have you not taken it back to Halfrauds to complain?

PMSL.

Take a mirror out to the car, pop it next to the light bulb and take a picture. Then we can diagnose your problem and help you.

Ohhhh right lol!! If you had made it clearer I would have understood better.
I cant take a photo of it right now as I'm at work.
I work for Mercedes-Benz so I might just get people here to look at it.
I dont even know how to get the light bulb thing out to be honest and I havnt bothered complaining because this was almost a month ago now.

Common electrical fault, I had the same.

Take the rear lights out, give the connectors a healthy soaking of WD40, do the same with the number plate light and that should do it.

It's not Halfords fault, it's just water ingress

You work for an OEM but you took your car to Halfords to get them to replace a bulb ?

LOLZ.

Common fault.. the fog lamp shouldn't be illuminated on the cluster at the rear anyway. Get a friend to press the brakes and you stand behind and check. You'll notice it does it more when it's wet out too...
