Really strange problem when connecting Macbook to TV

Hello!

When I connect my macbook to my tv, the internet switches off (just on my macbook :S)

But when I take out the mini display port thing, the internet comes back on :S :S

Im running mini display port to HDMI, and not mirroring screens (IE two seperate screens)

Is there something i need to mess with in the settings?
