Rear beam change... help needed!

  RB 182 replica
hiya everybody, ive got a 2002 1.2 clio which has been made into a 182 replica, the only obvious thing you notice is that its got drums on the back.
wanted to get a complete rear axle off a 172, or a similar clio which has disks on the back, but donr know how much work it'd be or even if it would fit.
any help would be appreciated. cheers

It will fit, just 6 nuts to take the whole beam off (although it might be a pain to undo them)

Clios with disks on the back:

RS models
1.6 (some varieties)
Big diesels

If you want a second hand 172 one expect to pay £150 to £300

Giles did it to his 1.6 rsi (mk2 ph1 car) he had a load of problems adjusting the abs & things. I think he went back to his drums in the end.

- welshy you got any pics of your rep ??
