Rear Coilover Advice/Help

  Clio 172 Cup
Hoping someone will be able to give me some advice..

I've fitted a set of Escort Mk2 rear Bilstein Coilovers to the rear of my 172 Cup, and need some spring advice.

I had some14.5" 160/200lb springs on them, and the car just sat to high. I've changed the springs to 10.5" 225lb and the car sits way to high, with no room for adjustment.

Can anyone advice further on how to get it sitting right. When the weight is put on the springs, it drops about 1".

Would it not be the shocks being wrong?

Escort shocks on a clio is a new one on me lol

Helper springs have been fitted, and fully compressed?

GAZ use 9" rear springs with helper springs,

This leaves plenty of threads for adjustment.

  Twingo 133 Cup,
You can fit them to a Twingo 133 so would assume that on a Clio they would work. I don't know what length spring or lb. People use Escort ones on loads of different things as there cheap and you have lots of options.

  dan's cast offs.
Need to measure damper without spring on fully compressed and full sag and take it from there but as kev says could just be it's to long.
