Rear discs on a 1.2

  AB182, Audi A5 3.0
Hi all, my rear drum brakes are up the creek, and the bearings along with them! so i thought whilst im playing with that part of the car, i might aswell change them over to discs, main reason is beacuse the pads are easier for me to change in the future.

Now from what i understand, the only way to do this is to swap the rear beam with one from a rsi (with the brakes attached). Just to check, is it really not possible to change to discs any other way? i went into renualt and the told me the stub axels are different sizes, is this true?

Thanks in advanced everyone, oh and iv also put a ad in the wanted section for a rsi rear beam if anyone has one going...

Yep RSi rear beam is the way forward if you want rear discs. Has to be an RSi one as the valver/williams axle has a slightly wider track due to the flared rear arches on them.
