rear drum to disc conversion



  BMW e46 320 Ci Sport


right im pretty serious about having this done now, has anyon tried this or know what sort of costs r involved? just cant stand me drums!! is it best to get the stuff froma dynamique plus model or get a 172 axel and go down that route (might not even b any different!!).

Just put 4 pots on the front! Rear brakes dont have as much power as the front anyways esp on a front wheel drive front engine car.

Yeah i know what you mean mate, you should be thankful that you gotta a 1.6 n not a 1.2 16v like me! :(
 


Replacing the axel as a unit is the easiest method, not sure that the ones with drums will have all the brackets in the correct places.

Should be a simple job.

Trawl the scrappys. tho a rs rear suspension section has anti roll bars not sure if the 1.6 has a rear set up.
