Rear jacking points

I'm sure it's been covered plenty of times but I'm using Tapatalk so the search is rubbish.

Looking to change my rear suspension so was wondering where to jack my car up from? Normally I jack it on the arms for the rear axle but obviously this would stop the rear axle from dropping so where should I place the jack and where do I place the axle stands.

Sorry I'm just a bit of a r****d even after all these years.

easiest for me was jack it in the middle of the rear beam, put wheel chocks in-front of the front wheels, place axle stands under the rear jacking points, and lower the car back on to them, that way you can use the jack to take the weight of the rear beam when undoing the shock bolts.
