yep sticky pads are the way to go... unless you want to get one off!

Best thing gow down to do it all and buy yourself a Stanly mini-stanly knife it has a 4" exstendable snap-off blade, winde the blad out then just slide it up the back of the plate. if you want to be real carful then put some masking tape over the tip to stop it digging into your paint work.

Thats what ive done, but then if your old plate is the same reg as your new one, IE your private plate before you had it respaced then just sticky the new one over the top, and you wont ever notice, that way if the pigs pull you over tell them you fitted your "show" plate for a meet the other day but havent been able to get the damn sticky pads off!!!! works for me and saves me a £60 spot fine for ilegal plates...

Heat the plate up with a hair dryer and the plate will come off a little easier when the adhesive gets warm.

The number plates on the more recent clios are really poorly stuck on imo. When i was washing my old mans car (54 plate extreme) it seemed like it was going to fall off at anytime!

i have to take my other clios plate off tonight, 54 plate extreme, feels like it is welded to the car!

Thanks guys!! :D

I have 2 sets of plates, Shows plates and my normal ones. I stick little vecro pads to the car (the ones with the hooks) then i put the other velcro bits on the plates themselves (the softer ones) and then i just swap my show/normal plates over as and when i need to..

Did this on my valver.. plates never fell off, and i stick the little caps to the front plate so one one would know! (apart from you all ofcourse..)
