Rear Numberplate Light?

Had a search but cant find what I am looking for
Can anyone tell me the type of bulb i need for the light that illuminates the rear numberplate? (ie. like h1, h7 etc)

Saw one in blue on here and thought that looked tidy. Does anybody know where I could get one of those?

i dont know why you would want your number plate light to be any brighter/clearer.

i chose the dimmest crappiest bulb i could get away with

mk 3 is a festoon some mk3 are 501 with this you will have to measure what size your exsiting one is

mk 2 is a 245 bulb.
