Rear piston wont wind in but will wind out????

  Clio RS 182
Rear piston needs to go in to accomodate the carrier and pads but it just doesnt move in when turned clockwise. But if turned anti clockwise it still moves out.

Whats going on?!?!?

Not sure really, maybe try it with the bleed nipple open?

Did/does the opposite caliper wind in ok?

This was the first one I tried so not sure yet, if no luck with the bleed nipple or some "gentle" persuasion will give up and try the other side to see if it works.

Try winding back with some pressure applied as well. Hopefully you are turning the piston clockwise. I just used a flat piece of metal the fitted the slot.
