Rear seat not locking in place

I put down my rear seats today for the first time , and when i closed them back up one of the seats wont lock in to place , and the button thing is staying down!

Ive tride fiddling inside but it's not working ( locking into place ) i think it may be broken?

Would this be a warrenty job?

The seat is not fit for someone to sit on , they would fly through the window!

if not take the seat out of the car,and undo the backing to the seat material,look at the mechanism,youll see that when you press the mechanism at the top the spring should move,if it isnt it needs a bit of oil and 20-30 movements of pressing the locking mechanism that isnt clicking,making the button go up and the mechanism locking then press the top button so lock it press button until it loosens and works fine,sorted mine
