Rear Shock Changing!

Any chance out there of anyone spending the time to write a step by step guide on how to change the rear shocks on my clio 172!! And i mean an idiots guide lol!!! Dont want to F**k it up lol! Have been told its a simple job and would love to have ago myself :eek:

there is a guid on here, along with many other guides, but you need to be a member to be able to see them, buy doing so you need to pay the £10 :)
 
it's a doddle - half hour, tops

- lift with trolley jack under centre of beam, axle stands either end

- remove the lower damper bolts; may need to use penetrating oil; thump the (ring)spanner/ratchet with a heavy mallet if the bolts are stubborn

- rubber cups off of the top mounts in the boot, undo top nut (think there's a flat on the damper rod to stop it turning)

- remove dampers; retrieve bushes from underneath turret (they'll likely have stuck there)

- new dampers/bushes on; clean up the bottom bolts and copper grease them; nip everything up; lower car; tighten everything
