whats the difference between std 172 shocks and std cup shocks ???????

Cup's appear to be stiffer.
Springs are definitely stiffer.

I have cup suspension on my ff, its a noticable change.

think my rear left has gone baggy and spotted some cup shocks forsale wondered what the difference is

I had the same issue, plus a broken spring, so changed the whole lot to a low mileage cup setup. Very happy.

if i go round a right hand corner the car sits and goes round and it handles ok if i go rounds a left hand coner the car jumps and moves all over the place its like it skips over the tarmac doesnt instill confidence when pushing hard trying to enjoy the full potential of the car i have
