Rear speaker wires

As per title I'm changing my rear speakers on my 172 and was wondering
which colour is positive and which is negative
Anybody know

Turn the radio on low and test by poking wires into plug or use a multimeter.

If your changing from standard, look inside the socket on the old speaker and you'll see a small '+'. You'll be able to figure out which is positive from there!

I *think* the wire closest to the locking clip on the plug is usually +

These where correct from my 1.2, and usually match up on most clios, so if the wires are the same colour these should be right.
