rear speakers

has anybody got components in the rear aswell as the front but with no tweeters? my rear coaxals are dead and i got some focal componets from my sisters car to put in and need to know if they sound alright with no tweeters?

ive got alpine type r components in the fron and had the coaxals in the rear but 1 had got coverd in drink and died so taken them both out and dont want to put standards back in as i would rather have nothing in lol

Which model of the Focal comps do you have?

A basic set of coaxils in the rear will do the trick, I agree anything is better than the standard beermats

my golf has components in the rear doors [5door] and the sound is realy good. all standard. was going to upratre the speakers soon as i bought it as my clio was loud, but once i put my new stereo in from the standard tape it was mint.
