rear wiper + MOT

I was just wondering if a rear wiper is required to pass an M.O.T?

I was thinking of removing/smoothing mine

didnt used to be compulsary. might have changed since though. check with a local mot place to be sure.

No its not. Loads of cars come without them but if they are fitted it needs to be working.

no so, doesnt even need to work!

only front wipers are tested...
