Net gear standard issue from Virgin Media. Dont know what you mean by G & N lol

If it is for a desktop why not just get an internal wireless card? They are about the same price but in my experience get better signal quality.

Petty much any dongle / card from a fairly well known brand will do. They all do the same thing.

I bought a belkin one from maplin for £14, great signal strength and never dropped out on me yet.

Using it upstairs to downstairs.
