Recommend me a HD handy cam

I'm after the above for a birthday present, would like to spend up to £250, and it must be HD.

I've seen a few but i'm not sure which is best.

Any help would be helpful.

Not sure if they have improved by now but my m8 got one a year or so ago and it was shocking if the light wasn't very good iirc. I guess they may have improved over time tho
