Recommended garage's in West Yorkshire

  BG 182
Currently in the process of purchasing a 182.

When i went to view/test drive I looked through the service history and noticed the belts haven't been changed.

(it's 04 Reg 35k mls)

In negotiation at the moment with the garage because this is obviously due and going to cost circa £500.

If i do buy the car I need to find somewhere decent and recommended.

Does anyone know of any garages/specialists in the Halifax/Hudds/Leeds (maybe stretching wider W/Yorks) area?

thanks in advance

RS Tuning in Leeds do belts now.

Queens Service Station in Leeds also come highly reccomended on renaultsport.co.uk.

There is of course NW Performance who are are cheap if you can be bothered with the hour long drive.

had some work done at RSMurray recently, would recommend them.

IIRC the price they gave me for both my aux & cam belts was over £500 though

Flipped eck, my family used to take all our cars to Bob Pearsons before i became a mechanic!

Phil, my friend has his own garage and he did the belts on my 172 no problems and he's very good but cheap. Give us a text and ill give you his number

Also, there's a Renault Specialists just up from the new hospital, is it Dryclough Lane? Never used them but might be worth a try?

I'd say i'd do it, but cant be assed buying the timing tools! Cheers for dropping key off too buddy :D
