Registration and owner check

well i am sure i was on here the other day and i am sure that someone on here has the capability to find out who the owner is of a certain vehicle is just from there number plate, i cant remember who it was so was hoping that person could help or anybody else for that,

i am sure the comment was made about a free website to do this...

please help

You can find out the details of the Car, but not the owner.

I think someone said its on the RAC website where you can find the history of a car but you will not be able to find peoples names legally.

The RAC website will tell you details of the car, when it was first registered , and how many owners its had.

Thats about all you can find out.
