Am getting new 182 next week .. Any key reliability issues to take note of with this model? Also is the g-box good for 215hp or so in this model, as I am planning some minor tweaks to this level??

The box is good for as much abuse you give it.

Ktecs has survived with 270hp and some 172 turbod cars have 300hp without problems.

People have worn boxes and broke bits with stock engined though through total abuse.

Roamer smashed his with 212hp but thats probably due to the 1/4 miling.

SO long as your gently and dont drop the clucth an dont race the shifts and have a good uprated clutch you should be fine upto 300hp. The stock clutch isnt amazing though.

i dont think roamer done much 1/4 miling, but it did have a hard life on the roads and track iirc
