Might be a stupid question or maybe not but im gunna ask anyway! lol

It just seems that you get more posts about broken valvers than williams or is just me? lol

Well I have had both, Valver was always in the garage every month come pay day something was wrong, alternator, radiator, won;t start, battery, big end the list was endless.

Other side of the coin my Willy 3 has never been into the garage for anything other than a service and errr thats it I think, oh an ABS ring too.

Dont think its anythign to do with it being a Williams or a Valver, I think my first one was uncared for and the Willy was FRSH and runs sweet as a nut, come to think of it my 16v had a FRSH, hmm got me worrying now...lol

Maybe because most of the williamss seem to be alot lower milers perhaps because they arnt used as frequently as us valver owners use ours on an everyday basis!!!

There also seems to be fewer williams on here than there are valvers so thats probably the main reason!!!

Id say more Willys have been/are owned by enthusiasts so get more care, whereas the valvers tend not to have been so are more likely to have been abused or not received the special care a willy would have.

Some people have spent a fortune getting their Willys in good nick though. And these have been uncared for examples.

I used my Willy the same as I used my 16v, everyday driver.

Could be right though about the mileage etc as the Willy came with 57k and the Valver had 86 when new to me.

Already got there first lads!!!!

Get in line!!!!;)

My opinion on this is that like already mentioned the valvers are driven more, but hearing about more problems on the vavlers is most likely due to limited production runs of the Williams. In terms of engine reliability I cant see their being much difference if any, the blocks almost identical and all the other bits around it are pretty much identical
