My remote refuses to work when its on the right hand side of the steering wheel but is fine on the left! how crap is that

my mate had the same with his pioneer steeringwheel remote

yup its the pioneer steering wheel one

Its Infra Red thats why, needs clear line of sight.

the steeringwheel remote is not infra-red afaik...

no IR eye, and my mates works find without a clear line of sight...

its just short range i think

I have mine positioned on the lower right hand of the steering wheel and it works fine as long as im not turning left.
