So I have the same issue as most people on here, airbag lights on the dash. I have disconnected the connectors under the seat cleaned the contacts and put them back as securely as I can. The light goes out for around two minutes and then comes back on again. I know it's not a big deal but I like to see my dash with no warning lights on.
So it seems it's just a case of poorly fitting connectors under the passenger seat so I thought I would just cut off the connectors and use a couple of connector blocks or just solder them together.
I've only had my 172 a few weeks and I'm not that hot on electrics so I wanted to check with some experienced guys on here that this is OK and wont cause me any issues?
