removing arch liners

hi guys with my apex drop on my 205 tyres the front wheels are catching on the arch liners is it ok to remove these? and is it easy cheers many thanks

I would personally say dont remove them as it stops dirt and water getting to parts of the car that may rust or be caused to work in a wrong way. And if you do remove them they are really easy todo.

cheers guys thanks for that thought it may aid in air getting to the brakes better but also because of them catching struggle for full lock!!! would anything really get damaged this way cheers

Try to find where they are catching and take that bit of the arch lining away, the arch liner is there to stop sh*t going to places where it can cause rust etc as has been said.

look at it this way....if u dont take them off, it will wear the tyre down a tiny bit quicker and if u go over quiet a harsh bump while going fast then the wheel could push up the arch linning it's self. if ur worried bout keeping it then try and find a way of repositioning it further up the arch...if u ever had the arches rolled for some reason, then the company would remove them.

cheers guys thanks for that going tio have a good luck tonight as some of the clips holding the archliner in may have come loose which is making it catch can you get these clips from renault and how much are they cheers guys if i can get away with no removing a will probably do so
